Lanna Last

FOUNDER

Lanna Last is a radical ecofeminist and advocate for gynecological health and the environment. She has experience in building businesses from the ground up that engage in major social issues. Recently, she has launched a blog that investigates gynecological health issues by weaving history, culture, and lived experiences through a series of interviews. With an M.A. in Art History that focused on racial inequalities between women in North Africa, Lanna continues to disrupt the system of inequities through her unruly work and writing.

Melanie ter Borg a BSc in Cell Biology and an MA in Women’s Studies. She has over ten years of experience in biomedical research as a lab technician and research assistant in academic labs in plant virology and stem cells, and slow-release technology.

She worked at UBC on slow release of chemotherapeutic agent(s) for bladder cancer instilled directly into the bladder, similar to the mechanism we use for our vaginal CBD project. Since semi-retiring from bench science a decade ago, she co-founded a hydroponic microgreen operation and a last-mile delivery of eCommerce packages business.

Her experience has led her to realize leveraging teams is the best way to build a business. Melanie’s role includes envisioning, formulation, funding, and marketing.
